“Designed to manage and analyze machine data for industrial users, the new Predix Cloud from GE will enable “the next phase of growth for the industrial Internet,” the company said today. By improving the ability to use machine data faster and more efficiently, industrial firms could save billions of dollars annually, GE said. GE described Predix Cloud as the “world’s first and only cloud solution designed specifically for industrial data and analytics.” In addition to providing asset connectivity and support for machine data, the new offering will also feature industrial-grade security and compliance support, the company said. “
