“President Obama got a bounce in post-convention polls, but it may not be the result of his speech; it could be because he ran more than twice as many ads as his opponent. The Wesleyan Media Project reported Wednesday that Obama and groups supporting him aired 40,000 ads during the two-week period of the political conventions, compared with 18,000 ads for Republican Mitt Romney and groups backing the GOP nominee. Obama leads Romney by 7 percentage points in the most recent Gallup Poll, 50%-43%”
